Welcome Back!

This is just a short post to announce a change I recently noticed in Terapeak’s sign-up process while helping out one of my EAB customers to get going with market research.

Previously, the free trial Terapeak offered was just for the Basic account which had some limitations and didn’t offer you all the tools needed for your eBay research tasks. It has changed recently and now, by default, you sign up for the Professional Account AND you can also sign-up for additional features like My Sales Pro and SEO Pro right on the trial sign-up page itself:

I personally don’t use My Sales Pro but SEO Pro is a very handy tool to find hot keywords for your eBay, Amazon and even eCommerce store products as it does include keywords from Google too. I have created a special guide on how to create keyword rich listing titles here.

On the same page you can select whether you want to be on a monthly or yearly billing cycle, which offers significant savings. And they genuinely are big savings – 33% for the Professional subscription which should really be the minimum package for any serious eBay seller.

Remember that the first 7 days of your Terapeak subscription is free and to visualise this, you can see a very good graphic that tells you when you’ll first be billed:

If you cancel your subscription before that date, you won’t pay anything.

And for those of you who are worried about signing up for trials using a credit card, you can also use your PayPal account for this process which means that you’ll be 100% in charge of your subscription and can cancel it any time you want.

But there’s no real need to be worried – I have worked with Terapeak for many years now and they’re a completely legitimate and genuine company that has developed a number of excellent tools and services for us sellers.

The subscription management is also very easy – you can access this information from your profile when logged into Terapeak and from there you can downgrade, upgrade or cancel your subscription any time you want.

I will soon cover the brand new Advertise feature on my blog and of course continue covering various ways to use Terapeak for your eBay market research, competitor analysis, SEO needs and much, much more!

And just to make something completely clear, as I have seen some people asking about this – yes, I do make a commission from Terapeak sales as I have partnered up with them. I see this commission as a small thanks for my overall efforts with this blog and all the content I provide for free.

But just to let you know, I never base my opinion about Terapeak or any other product I may promote based on the fact that I’m an affiliate for it! That’s not how I do business and I ALWAYS give my honest opinion about things, even if it’s negative, especially with these software products like Terapeak.

You can’t imagine how many PAID article offers I receive each month and I’ve refused every single one of them as I think that would ruin the whole integrity of this blog, as I wouldn’t be the one controlling what’s said in those articles.

So thank you for your support and a special thanks to those people who do use my link to sign-up to Terapeak, as it really does help me keep this blog running ADS FREE!

Lastly – I’m fully aware of the recent change to Competitors Research tool Terapeak made last week. I will be doing a post about this and a video in up-coming weeks to show you how to work with this new tool.

All the best,
Andrew

  1. Surely this service has been severely dented by the removal of competitor names research. This was the main reason we have used this service although it does have some other benefits too.

      Hi Alan,

      Thanks for your comment.

Yes, removal of the seller IDs in competitor research tool was a big surprise to me too. But you can still research specific sellers using the tool, I’m working on a video to show how to do it and will publish on my blog in 2 weeks time.

      Thanks,
      Andrew
